transition through Menopause
Menopause counseling will help you understand what’s happening in your body so that you can be prepared for the changes you are experiencing. Counseling visits will involve you sitting down with your physician and discussing what you are going through and what to expect. From there, examinations can be performed and the proper treatments can be administered. You are not alone during your transition; we’re here to answer all of your questions and deal with any of your concerns.
You may experience very common menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, mood changes, and vaginal dryness for some time before you actually go through your last period. This stage is called perimenopause, which means “around menopause,” and refers to the years before and after your final menstruation. As you can see, menopause is not a rapid physiological change and that’s why you’ll need support throughout your transition.
